Re: Tell me you love me!
Wed, December 28, 2005 - 1:29 PMHow about the change in the Sunday morning/afternoon crowd???
Seems like a lot of snot-nosed L.A. bitches now...
Please don't start with catering to the bottle-service crowd. It's what killed NYC nightlife!!! -

Re: Tell me you love me!
Wed, December 28, 2005 - 8:51 PMHmm...
When I'm working sunday afternoon all I see are the usual suspects of regulars I've seen around.
Last time I checked we don't offer bottle service unless it's a 12oz beer.

Re: Tell me you love me!
Thu, January 5, 2006 - 8:49 AM...and I love how this Shatter person so hates house music, but somehow loves his job at the End Up. Care to explain that one shit-for-brains? Psst, the underlying theme is you muthas have turned a great ally into a great enemy. -

Re: Tell me you love me!
Thu, January 5, 2006 - 6:02 PMIt's true. I'm a Rivethead by nature and I like Goth/Gothic music as well. Enjoying house music wasn't a pre-requisit to employment, merely that ability to tolerate it and not kill people.
That said, most house music annoys me for one simple reason: Most of the DJ's I've heard of the last 3 years can't play anything but a David Harness top 10 list from 6 months ago after Dave has already moved on to bigger and better songs.
At times in one afternoon working I've heard the same track played 3 times. Fortunatly for the staff, and patrons, Ynez has helped make some changes for the better musically. Less repeat songs, better variety, and a little variety. Some of the stuff David has been doing with Sunday nights makes me re-evaluate what can be done in the genre of house music, and its refreshing. Here I thought it was 100% rehashed 70's disco under another name.
Care to retort? Let's se eif you can reach past your meth psychosis and have a real discussion.
