Tue, January 31, 2006 - 6:52 PMDon't blame tribe! I've had this problem before with others who simply fuggen didn't or wouldn't or didn't WANT TO follow the directions! This is the ONLY time this has happened to me in MONTHS! I think it was purposely or stupidly done by whoever posted this announcement! DON'T cop out and blame tribe! It simply doesn't figure! -

Usually it's if I'm using IE and not Firefox. Firefox sits on a loading screen for a realy long time and then give sthe completed screen. IE will show the server loading graphic and then stop, with nothing happening. Never getting the posting complete or anything like that. If you click again, same thing. Looks liek a lost packet.
I gave up and figured it wasn't going to post, then I saw it went out several times. it's some weird server IE thing.

Tue, January 31, 2006 - 10:40 PMThere have been a couple of posts that I've made that *never* went through. I copy everything I write before I post just in case. Twice I wound up double posting because I would not see what I posted for a moment or two. I'll repost and when I go to check I'll see my double post. I've noticed others who've had the same phenomena occur. I think it's fair to say that Tribe may not have barfed ( although with the TOU BS going on it IS turning into ONE BIG BARF ! ) nor the Post-er screwing up but just a temporary busy moment online or a program hiccup ( at Tribe or on an individual pc) , ISP glitch or another technical fizz out there that is occuring. Seems it could be one of several dozen things that could occur.
But to limit it to either one or the other w/o considering other possibilities is (and calling some one stupid and such) pretty arrogant. -

I was told by someone that you have to sign back in after an hour or so. Tribe signs you out (?) So I logged back in, rewrote,reposted and VOILA ! TWO posts !

Wed, February 1, 2006 - 3:05 PMI've been using firefox for only a couple of weeks. I've D/Led and installed the adblock program, too. That is what usually takes time to load a page, waiting for the ads to load I think (at least my pages load faster w/FF+adblock) . . .
